Addi Self drops secret why Shatta Wale suspended him from the Shatta Movement

Addi Self, a Ghanaian musician and the head of Self Nation, has disclosed some significant disagreements he had with Shatta Wale when they were both working for Shatta Movement.

Addi Self was a key member of the disbanded Ghanaian music collective SM Militants, which featured Addi Self, Captan, Joint 77, and Natty Lee. SM Militants was a division of Shatta Movement Family, often known as SM or SM4Lyf, which Shatta Wale created.

They recorded a number of songs under the name SM Militants, including popular songs like Taking Over and Forgetti, and they also made appearances on songs by Shatta Wale including Control Ghana, True Believer, and other tracks.

Addi Self reveals a secret he shared with Shatta Wale, Captan, and the circumstance that caused the Shatta Movement to suspend him.

However, he later quit the group owing to disagreements with Shatta Wale, and there are many rumours about his departure circulating on social media and other media outlets.
